New Nectar and Pollen

Above the brood area is an area of pollen and new nectar. Pollen appears multicolored. Nectar appears like water in the cells.
Cells where a bee has emerged are also filled with new nectar, thus preventing access by the queen to lay more eggs. A nectar flow such as this tends to "shut down" the queen. We are now at the peak of the fall nectar flow.
