Unidentified beetle appeared to be eating pollen.
Identity debated:
Tentatively ID'ed as a
long-horn beetle (Cerambycidae) thanks to Chris Raper
Bill Wamer indicates a "lepturine longhorned beetle, probably genus Leptura.
Michael Thomas indicates Typocerus
Doug Yanega says: It's a Typocerus, either T. confluens or T. velutinus. The elytral
pattern is more consistent with the former, but the thorax is more like the latter, and
probably more trustworthy for diagnostic purposes
