This little lady dropped into a bucket of syrup I was feeding to some nucs. I fished her out to keep her from drowning. Not having anything better I put her in a used yogurt cup and took her home for some closeup photos. At home I washed her in some tepid running water so she would not look so bedraggled. Then I gave her a tissue to dry herself, which she did surprisingly well.
Now that she's "freshened up" she's ready for a portrait:
She was fed well and released the next morning....
