Pollen source:  Pale greenish white pollen
Nectar source:   Occasionally a good flow will result in creation of new comb/white wax

Since the Simrill pollen samples were taken in very late spring, it was a bit of a surprise to find Acer pollen in the samples. Had the samples been taken earlier, this pollen would probably have been a major constiuent; but in these, it was only present in minor amounts.
